Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and profit and loss reports.
- Assist with payroll processing and ensure timely and accurate tax withholdings.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure data accuracy.
- Support the finance team with budget preparation and financial forecasting.
- Maintain compliance with federal and state accounting regulations and GAAP standards.
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.).
- Knowledge of tax preparation and payroll regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines.
