Responsibilities
- Review, verify, and code incoming invoices for accuracy and completeness.
- Process payments to vendors via check, electronic transfer, or ACH in a timely manner.
- Resolve billing discrepancies and communicate professionally with vendors regarding outstanding invoices.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date digital and physical filing systems for all financial records.
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and general account reconciliation.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare weekly or monthly reports regarding accounts payable status.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required; some college coursework in business or accounting is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in data entry tasks.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Ability to learn new accounting software quickly (training provided).
- Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities.
- Professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
