Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and ensure timely payments
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Implement and maintain internal controls for financial accuracy
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience in a remote or hybrid environment
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or similar accounting software
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, data modeling)
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
