Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions monthly.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial audits.
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and ensure compliance with GAAP standards.
- Process payroll transactions and manage employee benefits inquiries.
- Support budget preparation and variance analysis for department heads.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred but not mandatory).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional accounting experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions required).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and tax regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
