Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and profit and loss statements.
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements to ensure accuracy.
- Assist with the preparation of annual tax returns and quarterly reporting.
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure all entries are up to date.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial processes and internal controls.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients regarding their account inquiries.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting or a similar financial role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and MS Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (CPA preferred).
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
