Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping activities and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Assist with the preparation of quarterly and annual tax returns.
- Process accounts payable and receivable invoices efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve budgeting and forecasting processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or NetSuite).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and handle high-volume workloads.
