Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including GL maintenance, month-end close, and financial reporting
- Lead audit processes and ensure compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations
- Analyze financial data to drive strategic business decisions and cost optimization
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and cash flow management
- Implement process improvements for financial systems and controls
- Prepare executive-level financial statements and variance analysis
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial planning and forecasting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and advanced Excel functions
- Proven track record of managing complex month-end closes and audits
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder presentations
- Experience in public accounting or fintech industry highly desirable
