Responsibilities
- Perform daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, trial balances, and reconciliation reports.
- Assist with the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and compliance documentation.
- Maintain accurate general ledger records and ensure adherence to GAAP standards.
- Collaborate with the finance team to optimize budgeting and cash flow management.
- Conduct audits of financial documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience as an Accountant or in a related financial role (1-3 years preferred).
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical skills with a high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities in a high-volume environment.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA designation is a plus.
