Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP standards.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and credit card analyses.
- Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets and profit and loss reports.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and local tax returns.
- Process payroll accurately and ensure timely disbursement.
- Conduct expense audits and identify areas for cost reduction.
- Collaborate with department heads to provide financial insights and budget support.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
