Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle accounting process, including month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, variance reports, and budget forecasts for executive review.
- Ensure accuracy of general ledger accounts and perform regular bank reconciliations.
- Assist in the annual audit process and coordinate with external auditors.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions to ensure timely and accurate payments.
- Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance financial efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or public accounting environment.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data clearly.
