In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining the financial health of our organization. You will work closely with senior accountants to ensure compliance, accuracy, and efficiency in all financial reporting processes. Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP.
- Perform daily reconciliation of bank statements and general ledger accounts to ensure data integrity.
- Process and monitor accounts payable invoices and accounts receivable transactions.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes by collecting necessary documentation.
- Collaborate with the audit team to provide requested schedules and supporting schedules.
- Maintain and organize financial records and filing systems for easy access.
- Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis where applicable.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or currently pursuing a CPA/Master’s degree).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups).
- Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Sage is highly preferred.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills for interacting with team members and management.
- A proactive attitude and a genuine passion for learning the accounting profession.
