Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15+ client portfolios using QuickBooks Online and Xero
- Prepare monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow analyses
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and investment accounts with 99% accuracy
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and implement workflow optimizations
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax professionals during quarterly reviews
- Maintain organized digital filing systems for compliance and audit readiness
- Generate financial reports for client stakeholders with actionable insights
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with multi-client portfolios
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Xero, and Microsoft Excel
- Proven track record of month-end closing with zero material discrepancies
- Deep understanding of GAAP principles and IRS compliance requirements
- Exceptional attention to detail with ability to spot irregularities in large datasets
- Strong communication skills for presenting financial data to non-finance stakeholders
- Experience with automated accounting systems and process improvement initiatives
