Key Responsibilities
As a Night Shift Accountant, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of our financial data and maintaining accurate records during our operational peak.
Responsibilities
- Perform nightly bank reconciliations and general ledger entries.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with high accuracy.
- Prepare and review daily financial reports for leadership review.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly tax filings.
- Monitor and maintain fixed asset registers and expense reports.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams regarding financial discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP).
- Ability to work independently and accurately during night shifts.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
