Responsibilities
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with precision
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements and reports
- Manage SOX compliance and internal audit coordination
- Develop and implement financial controls and processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting
- Mentor junior accounting staff and interns
- Stay current on GAAP regulations and tax updates
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- CPA certification required
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel
- Proven experience with multi-state tax compliance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills
