Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and reconcile bank accounts monthly
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage cash flow
- Generate financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheets, Cash Flow)
- Prepare payroll and tax documentation quarterly
- Implement internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP
- Collaborate with CPAs during audits and tax seasons
- Utilize QuickBooks Online for daily financial operations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Expertise in QuickBooks Online and Excel (Advanced Functions)
- Proven track record of meeting tight deadlines
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
- Proficiency with payroll systems (ADP/Paychex preferred)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
