Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and on time.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts monthly.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring all invoices are paid and collected promptly.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss reports.
- Assist with payroll processing and tax filings as required.
- Maintain organized financial records and archives.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage).
- Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
- Experience with payroll systems (ADP, Gusto, etc.) is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills.
- Associate degree in Accounting or Finance; Bachelor's degree preferred.
