Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end month-end and year-end close processes.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of tax documents and external audits.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve internal controls.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3+ years of professional accounting experience.
- CPA certification is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite).
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
