Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive credit analysis and risk assessment for new and existing clients.
- Review financial statements, credit reports, and collateral to determine creditworthiness.
- Maintain and update credit files and internal databases with accurate data.
- Prepare detailed reports and recommendations for credit committees.
- Monitor delinquency trends and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with sales and underwriting teams to facilitate loan approvals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in credit analysis or a related financial role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and financial modeling.
- Strong understanding of credit risk principles and underwriting guidelines.
- Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
