Responsibilities
- <ul><li>Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.</li><li>Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure accuracy.</li><li>Manage general ledger accounts and perform complex reconciliations (bank, credit card, intercompany).</li><li>Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.</li><li>Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and audit schedules.</li><li>Develop and maintain budget models and provide variance analysis to management.</li><li>Supervise junior accounting staff and review their work for quality control.</li></ul>
Qualifications
- <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA certification preferred).</li><li>3 to 5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.</li><li>Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero) and advanced Excel skills.</li><li>Strong understanding of US tax laws and financial reporting standards.</li><li>Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills.</li></ul>
