Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP standards.
- Manage general ledger accounts and perform complex monthly reconciliations for multiple bank accounts and credit cards.
- Assist with annual federal and state tax filings and ensure full compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Conduct internal audits and improve internal control processes to mitigate financial risk.
- Prepare budget forecasts and variance analysis reports to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with the finance team to streamline month-end close procedures and resolve discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA certification is a strong plus).
- Minimum 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite).
- Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and current tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a high-volume setting.
