Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable reconciliation.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict compliance with GAAP.
- Assist in the annual budgeting and forecasting process for the San Francisco office.
- Manage general ledger activities and ensure the accuracy of all financial data.
- Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns; support external audit requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial reporting and operational efficiency.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or tech environment.
- CPA certification or eligibility to sit for the CPA exam is highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage).
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to detect discrepancies in financial records.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to present complex financial data clearly.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
