Responsibilities
- Manage General Ledger: Oversee the daily operations of the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Reconciliation: Perform bank reconciliations and variance analysis to ensure financial data integrity.
- Accounts Payable/Receivable: Manage and process invoices, payments, and billing cycles efficiently.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial processes comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting workflows and implement best practices.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Certification: CPA or CMA certification is highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage).
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
