Your Role:
As a Senior Accountant, you will oversee key financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while optimizing internal processes. You will work closely with the CFO and team to drive financial strategy.
Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounts payable and receivable processes with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Assist in the annual budgeting process and perform variance analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Conduct internal audits and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure data integrity.
- Prepare and file necessary tax documents and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial reporting workflows and efficiency.
- Maintain accurate fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables).
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and federal tax regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data clearly.
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
