- Manage month-end close processes and financial statement preparation
- Oversee general ledger reconciliations and complex accounting entries
- Lead internal control audits and compliance initiatives
- Develop financial models and variance analysis for executive reporting
- Coordinate external audit engagements and documentation requests
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process improvement projects
- Implement new accounting standards and regulatory changes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel (advanced functions)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and SOX compliance
- Proven ability to lead month-end close processes
