Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring 100% accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict compliance with GAAP.
- Assist with external and internal audits by providing requested documentation and explanations.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently and accurately.
- Perform variance analysis and prepare detailed budget vs. actual reports.
- Maintain accurate fixed asset schedules and depreciation calculations.
- Assist in year-end tax preparation and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and MS Excel (Advanced functions required).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA designation is a significant plus.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet strict deadlines in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
