Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP.
- Perform general ledger reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Assist with external audits and prepare necessary documentation for tax filings.
- Collaborate with the finance department to develop accurate budgets and financial forecasts.
- Maintain and update internal financial policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- CPA certification or CMA designation is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial analysis.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP).
- Deep understanding of US tax laws and financial regulations.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
