Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 clients using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis
- Handle accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Process payroll and ensure tax compliance (CA & federal)
- Assist with month-end closing and audit preparation
- Implement financial controls and process improvements
Qualifications
- 3+ years bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks certification
- Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables)
- Strong understanding of GAAP and CA tax regulations
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Excellent attention to detail with error-free work history
- Ability to meet urgent deadlines in fast-paced environment
