Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and ensure all transactions are recorded correctly.
- Process payroll accurately and on time for all employees.
- Prepare and generate monthly financial statements and reports for management review.
- Maintain and update the general ledger using accounting software.
- Assist in the preparation of year-end tax documents and audit schedules.
- Reconcile credit card statements and vendor invoices.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks or Xero accounting software.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
