Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
- Process payroll accurately and on time for all employees.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, trial balances, and tax documents.
- Maintain and organize a digital and physical filing system for all financial documents.
- Reconcile credit card statements and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Assist the Senior Accountant with general ledger entries and month-end close procedures.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and/or Xero is required.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
