Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis.
- Process payroll and ensure all tax filings are accurate and timely.
- Prepare and generate monthly financial reports, including profit and loss statements.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax documents and audits.
- Perform general clerical accounting duties as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of proven experience as a Bookkeeper.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) is required.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
