Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements on a monthly basis.
- Process invoices, payroll, and expense reports efficiently and accurately.
- Prepare and generate monthly financial reports, including profit and loss statements.
- Assist with year-end audits and tax preparation support.
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies and federal regulations.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding financial inquiries and status updates.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (2+ years) as a Bookkeeper, Accountant, or in a similar financial role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to spot discrepancies.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
