Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle billing processes including invoice generation, posting, and payment reconciliation
- Resolve complex billing discrepancies and customer inquiries with exceptional communication skills
- Collaborate with sales and operations teams to ensure accurate revenue recognition
- Maintain compliance with healthcare billing regulations (HIPAA, CMS) and internal policies
- Analyze billing data to identify trends and recommend process improvements
- Utilize Epic EMR and Meditech systems for charge entry and claims submission
- Prepare monthly billing reports and variance analyses for leadership review
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience with strong knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 codes
- Expertise in insurance claim processing and third-party payer protocols
- Proficiency in billing software (Epic, Meditech) and MS Office Suite
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or Certified Medical Reimbursement Specialist (CMRS) preferred
- Proven ability to manage high-volume billing operations with 99%+ accuracy
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in a deadline-driven environment
