Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Reconcile bank accounts and prepare bank deposits.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and tax filings.
- Perform general ledger accounting and month-end close procedures.
- Conduct internal audits and ensure internal controls are in place.
- Assist with budget preparation and variance analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in general accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Sage, or similar accounting software.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
