Responsibilities
- Manage daily general ledger operations and perform accurate month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Assist in the preparation and filing of federal, state, and local tax returns.
- Conduct thorough bank reconciliations and manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Ensure strict compliance with internal financial policies and external regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with management to provide insights for financial planning and budget analysis.
- Maintain organized and accurate financial records and documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience in general accounting or finance.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to detect errors in financial data.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
