Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely posting of financial transactions.
- Oversee the full-cycle accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, payments, and collections.
- Prepare monthly and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and compliance documentation for federal and state regulations.
- Conduct regular bank reconciliations and variance analysis to identify discrepancies.
- Collaborate with the management team to provide financial insights and budget support.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial analysis.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite) and MS Excel (pivot tables, vlookup).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA designation is a plus but not required.
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
