Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and ledgers.
- Process and reconcile monthly bank statements and accounts payable/receivable.
- Prepare and issue invoices, receipts, and purchase orders.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports.
- Perform basic bookkeeping tasks, including data entry and expense categorization.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax documents and filings.
- Reconcile discrepancies in accounts and resolve billing issues promptly.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Basic understanding of math and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Willingness to learn new software systems and adapt to changing processes.
