Responsibilities
- Perform high-volume accounts payable and accounts receivable reconciliation to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Oversee the night shift general ledger process, including journal entries and account analysis.
- Conduct internal audits and variance analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with the finance team to streamline payroll procedures and tax reporting.
- Assist in the implementation of new accounting software and process improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- 3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Must be available to work the Night Shift (typically 5:00 PM - 2:00 AM).
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Sage, or similar ERP systems.
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) are mandatory.
- Strong understanding of US tax laws and regulatory compliance.
