Responsibilities
- Lead month-end/year-end close processes with meticulous attention to detail
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Manage SOX compliance documentation and internal controls
- Develop and maintain robust financial models for forecasting and budgeting
- Collaborate with auditors and resolve technical accounting inquiries
- Optimize accounting workflows using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle preferred)
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA/MBA strongly preferred
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expert proficiency in GAAP, SOX, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced Excel skills with VBA/Power BI experience
- Proven success with ERP implementations (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Strong communication skills with executive stakeholders
