Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements, on a monthly basis.
- Manage general ledger accounts and ensure accurate monthly and year-end closing procedures.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate payments.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Conduct internal audits and reconcile bank statements to identify discrepancies.
- Collaborate with the finance team to develop and monitor the annual budget.
- Provide detailed financial reports to management to support decision-making processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and tax laws.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP) and advanced Excel skills.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is highly preferred.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
