Responsibilities
- Assist with Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process invoices, verify vendor data, and manage payment schedules accurately.
- General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded correctly.
- Financial Reporting: Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Bank Reconciliation: Compare bank statements with internal records to identify discrepancies and resolve them promptly.
- Data Analysis: Utilize financial software and spreadsheets to analyze spending patterns and assist in budget preparation.
- Compliance Support: Ensure all accounting activities adhere to federal and state financial regulations and internal policies.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to spot errors and maintain high accuracy in data entry.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with team members and clients.
