Responsibilities
- Accurately maintain and reconcile financial records using QuickBooks and accounting software
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage payroll transactions
- Generate monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory financial reporting standards
- Coordinate with auditors during weekend financial reviews
- Implement and maintain internal controls for financial data security
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting
- Proven ability to meet deadlines in high-pressure environments
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- Excellent attention to detail with numerical accuracy
- Experience working weekend shifts or flexible schedules
- CPA certification or equivalent a plus
