Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Process payroll, tax filings, and quarterly financial statements
- Manage QuickBooks software with advanced transaction coding
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and anomalies
- Prepare month-end closing reports and budget forecasts
- Collaborate with CPAs during audits and compliance reviews
- Implement financial controls and process improvements
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Expertise in QuickBooks Online/Desktop and Microsoft Excel
- Proficiency with payroll systems (ADP/Paychex)
- Strong GAAP knowledge and tax compliance awareness
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines with 100% accuracy
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions
- QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification a plus
