Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market data to evaluate applicant creditworthiness
- Prepare detailed risk assessments and credit recommendations for commercial and consumer loans
- Monitor existing loan portfolios and identify potential collection or restructuring opportunities
- Collaborate with lending teams to structure compliant credit solutions
- Maintain accurate documentation in loan origination systems
- Stay updated on industry regulations and compliance requirements
- Present findings to credit committees with clear, data-driven insights
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 3+ years of credit analysis or underwriting experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling software
- Strong understanding of credit risk assessment methodologies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Relevant industry certifications (CFA, CRCM) preferred
