- Resolve billing discrepancies and denials through proactive communication with insurance providers
- Generate monthly reports on billing performance and key financial metrics
- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure accurate coding and documentation
- Implement process improvements to enhance billing efficiency and reduce AR days
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with HIPAA and billing regulations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience with proven expertise in CPT/ICD-10 coding
- Proficiency in Epic or similar EHR systems and billing software
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or equivalent certification preferred
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Experience resolving complex insurance claim denials
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
