Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and general ledger reconciliations
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes
- Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with GAAP/SOX regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting accuracy
- Support tax preparation and documentation for external auditors
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems
- Strong understanding of GAAP, SOX compliance, and tax regulations
- Proven ability to manage complex reconciliations and reporting cycles
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication and collaboration skills across departments
