Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and ensure timely payment cycles
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for internal stakeholders and regulatory compliance
- Lead budgeting and forecasting initiatives to support strategic decision-making
- Implement internal controls to mitigate financial risks and ensure SOX compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on process improvements and automation
- Conduct tax preparation and coordinate with external auditors
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and SEC regulations
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel
- Proven ability to manage complex financial projects and deadlines
