Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end closes
- Prepare accurate financial statements and compliance reports for regulatory bodies
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and vendor management
- Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable financial insights
- Collaborate with auditors during financial reviews and tax filings
- Maintain robust internal controls and SOX compliance documentation
Qualifications
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent professional accounting certification
- Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate setting
- Expert knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS, and HMRC regulations
- Advanced proficiency in SAP, Oracle, or equivalent ERP systems
- Exceptional Excel skills with experience in financial modeling
- Strong analytical abilities with attention to detail
