Responsibilities
- Manage daily general ledger accounting and reconciliation activities.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings.
- Conduct internal audits and provide recommendations for process improvements.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve budgeting and forecasting accuracy.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of financial records and sensitive data.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and MS Excel (advanced functions).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- CPA certification is a plus but not mandatory.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and handle high-volume workloads.
