Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
- Process payroll for 50+ employees bi-weekly
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card transactions
- Assist with month-end closing procedures
- Support audit preparation and documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (required)
- 2+ years of bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Excel
- Strong understanding of payroll processing
- Detail-oriented with error prevention skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid Michigan CPA license preferred
