Responsibilities
- Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and businesses
- Conduct tax research and planning strategies to optimize client outcomes
- Manage client relationships and communicate complex tax concepts clearly
- Collaborate with senior team members on audit support and tax compliance projects
- Utilize tax software (ProSystem fx, CCH, Lacerte) for efficient processing
- Stay updated on tax law changes and implement new regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- 1-3 years of tax preparation experience (CPA track preferred)
- Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Effective communication and client management abilities
- Relevant certifications (CPA, EA, or MST) highly desirable
- Ability to work independently and in team environments
